The Mifflin County Tomahawks are an 8-on-8 semi-pro football team and are members of the Great Eastern Football Association (GEFA) league. Our team was founded in 2008, originally known as the Milheim Fighting Dutchmen. In 2009 we became the Mount Tuscarora Tomahawks. In 2010, we officially moved to Mifflin County.
Competing under the Mountain Division of the GEFA league, we finished the 2013 season with a 5-5 record. In 2014, we ended the season with a 7-3 record. The Tomahawks were able to finally turn it around in 2015, finishing the year at 9-1 and making their first playoff appearance. The Tomahawks won their first ever play-off game and lost the Mountain Conference Championship game by 6 points. The following year, the Tomahawks finished the season going 9-1 again, blowing by the playoffs, and clinching their first GEFA championship birth! Keystone Bowl XIII didn't end like the Tomahawks had hoped, and they look to turn it around going into their 9th season with the Greater Eastern Football Association.
Thanks again to the fans who helped the Tomahawks lead the GEFA in attendance for the third year in a row!
